Building on our past works for Ren Ci Hospital, Pastor Soh from The New Church reached out to us for a similar community decoration to congregate around during the Christmas celebrations.

During our initial planning, we knew that this was not only going to be our largest project, spanning 2.2m tall, but it also needed to be collapsible, as the church intended to tear down and re-install every December. The design process was challenging but rewarding as we could ideate different ways to achieve the church’s needs.

In a stroke of random luck, the congregants have let us know that they love the tree so much, they actually keep it all year long and decorate accordingly, such as for Spring or Easter.
